I’m 29 years old, a Capricorn, and a safety representative working in the energy sector — so naturally, I decided to also build a skincare brand on top of that, because apparently I enjoy being busy and slightly stressed lol.

Plants came first.
My love for plants started around 2018, when I got really into gardening as a way to take care of my mental health. Plants gave me something to focus on when life felt like a lot.
They were quiet, steady, and honestly kind of dramatic, which I respected. There is something really satisfying about putting time and care into something and watching it grow — even if sometimes that means questioning your entire existence over a ficus.
Then skincare started making sense.
I had always loved skincare and making little herbal at-home potions for myself. The more I learned about plants, the more I started connecting the dots between what I was growing, what I was putting on my skin, and how small care routines can help you feel a little more like yourself again.
That is where Golden Botanical came from.
I wanted to create skincare that felt fresh, thoughtful, and useful.
Products that were gentle on the skin, easy to work into your routine, and still felt special without being overdone.
Botanical, but not boring. Pretty, but not pointless. Natural, but not in a “we put a leaf on it and called it wellness” kind of way.

A lot of who I am naturally shows up in this brand. I care about ingredients, texture, packaging, product names, colours, details, and whether something actually makes sense.
Very Capricorn Sun. Very Virgo Moon-coded. Very “let me change this one tiny thing for the 47th time and pretend I am fine.”
